Our standards

How we hold ourselves accountable.

Every member of New York Titans — player, coach, official, volunteer, parent, or supporter — agrees to the standards on this page. The full Code of Conduct document is available for download at the end of this page.

Behavior

We treat opponents, officials, teammates, and the game itself with respect at all times. Aggression, abuse, intimidation, and unsportsmanlike conduct are not part of how Titans plays cricket. Players are expected to lead by example on the field and off.

Vilification

There is no place in this club for discrimination, harassment, or vilification on grounds of race, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, age, or ability. The standard is absolute. Behavior that contradicts it leads to immediate disciplinary review.

Substance policy

We have clear rules for alcohol and any substance that affects performance, judgment, or safety. Underage members are not permitted to consume alcohol at club events. Performance-enhancing substances are prohibited. Members are expected to act in ways that protect the wellbeing of teammates and the reputation of the club.

Members guidelines

Members are expected to attend training and matches prepared, on time, and committed. We expect punctuality, communication, care for shared equipment and facilities, and respect for the time and effort of coaches and volunteers.

Social media

What members post under the Titans name carries the club's reputation. We expect honesty, respect, and good judgment online. Posts that target opponents, officials, or members of our own community fall outside our standard and will be addressed.
